Alright so obviously the main reason it blew up in Lorne's face is because he's a moron and didn't read it and see that all the smoking gun evidence were just his self assessments, not understanding the whole "whacking off to thoughts of high schoolers" thing and the Little House on the Prairie actress and flag girl. Just to be charitable, lets say the last two were just Lorne 87ing himself into a hole because he can't speak in the case of the former and was putting on his big tough I AINT NO PEDO, MR PENIS PROTECTS KIDS thing with the latter. OK, whatever. You didn't mean what they thought you did so you didn't know you were walking into a buzzsaw when you sent it to Cas3y.
But the Paula thing is confusing to me.
The Paula incident is like, the foundation myth of Lorne's issues. He's always maintained in calls they had sex. He even tells the story to Cas3y before the calls in which the psych eval is discussed. I think we can agree that the people conducting this are, despite Lorne's claims, not lying. As Cas3y says, it makes no sense and they have no motive to do so. So the logical conclusion is that Lorne did indeed admit to them he did not have sex with Paula. But he reacts with the same shock and outrage to that being in the report as he did to the flag girl and everything else.
Did he just forget he'd said it? Did he think it was worth trying to cover with his "they were lyin', I told them I did have shex with Pawla" story, hoping Cas3y would buy it and it was a good risk since there was all this other stuff he thought would prove he wasn't a pedo? The easiest explanation is that Lorne's a retard and just forgot but something like that couldn't possibly have totally slipped by him, right? I'm of the opinion that while Lorne is still uncooperative to a laughable degree he is still more hawnest with professionals than he is with the catfish and thats why he hates them: they give him genuine advice and diagnoses based on the more truthful information he gives them and obviously thats unacceptable to 87 because accepting that advice means admitting he's fucked up in ways beyond just nawt bein able to say no at the time. So how the fuck could he possibly not recall he actually dropped the Paula perfidy?
