So I was browsing NBC news (they make me laugh, they've got their heads so far up Clinton's ass they are checking for polyps) and ran across this article.

Basically, the cops cast a net with an underage prostitute and hauled in 41 fresh fish to include a couple of women. As there were no women busted on TCAP, this would have been a sight to see and be witness to their motivation. I don't know how many of you have ever browsed Backpage.com but it was one shady ass place. Some things that are posted there are just too good to be true and it almost has to be assumed that there is a criminal element to almost every offer. When I wasn't so internet savvy, I found a guy selling a pistol (a Prussian Red 9) that I was interested in buying. (Craigslist does not allow firearms to be advertised.) So I inquired further. Turns out it was stolen. Dude stole it from a friend's grandpa. Tried to sell it at a couple of pawnshops but a lot of pawn brokers are getting nervous about obvious meth heads trying to get a few bucks. Especially an old gun like that likely belongs in a collection. I called the cops after coming to take a look at the gun (stupid idea). They arrested him and the gun was returned to the grandfather who sold it to me legally. Actually he just tried to give it to me because he didn't want it in his house anymore but my angel on my shoulder advised me it was bad karma not to pay for it.
Anyway, what is your opinion? Should cops cast these nets from time to time? There were plenty of critics of TCAP that said having this show air so much would likely drive the molesters underground or back to their old haunting grounds like playgrounds and malls. I don't know anything about the "deepweb" or "darkweb" or how to access it but from what I hear you can find almost anything your heart desires if you just happen to be an evil person. Guns, drugs, Child porn, children themselves. What would you do if you ran across an ad like this on backpage? Would you report it to the authorities? I had a friend that was sent an e-mail once that screamed something fishy. The subject line was spelled out in a fashion that the spam filter wouldn't send it to junk mail. It was something like "K_1_D P_O_R_N" He reported it to the cops. Come to find out it was the cops themselves. I don't know the story and I have my reservations believing it but he says they got his e-mail based on his browsing history. He confessed he had a Warrecker-esque fascination for those rough sex or simulated rape sites but only if he could guarantee that it was all simulated. But as Warrecker proved to us, one proclivity leads to another. I purpously lost contact with this clown. Should have kept that shit to himself.
