I was watching some old MistaGG episodes, including the one with the so called Marine Corps Sniper who carried his shotgun everywhere he went, and decided to try to find some info on him.
I came across this:
I have no way of validating what was written was correct, but has anyone else done any research on him who can validate its accuracy?
First off, he wasn't a Marine. He was kicked out. He was also NEVER a Sniper.
PART 1: The POS at 1:33 to 3:32 was never a sniper.
I'm a Marine Veteran and Stemen was in my company.
He was kicked out of the Marine Corps for medical (not bathing) and writing bad checks (three cars and coutless other products that got repoed).
He was disgusting, he never showered or cleaned his laundry.
He would only do it every few weeks when it got so unbearable that he was beat on until he showered (but wouldn't use soap) and did his laundry (but wouldn't use detergeant).
PART 2: He ended up with this huge growth on his neck that wouldn't go away because he kept picking at it. His growth was known throughout the Company as "Stemenitis".
He was, in general, the most uselss human being I have ever seen.
He could not be relied upon to complete even the simplest tasks.
PART 3: He was sent home early from both of our deployments.
The first was on ship and he never made it into Iraq with us. He was left behind on ship because he cried to everyone in our Command giving every excuse that he could think of to get left back on boat.
The second deployment he went on one uneventful patrol in the first two weeks then was left in the rear for the next month and a half before getting sent home.
PART 4: He was sent home from both deployments because of all the medical issues that were a result of his lack of hygiene.
He was never a Sniper. Every Infantry Battalion in the Marine Corps has a Sniper platoon, but he never applied to get into it and if he tried he would never have been taken.
PART 5: He never saw combat AT ALL! But the host openly claims on this show that Stemen is "A Marine Sniper".
Which they could have found out was a lie in 5 minutes.
But they chose not to do so.
Numerous Marines I served with have written to NBC demanding a correction be broadcast. They have never done so.
