Lorne's current mindset

I’m sorry but I’m going to rant a little here. He can’t be as dumb as he appears?

Lorne barely made it through public high school. He tried to quit more than once but his mom said if he quit he would have to get a job. Working was worse than school in Lorne’s mind so he stuck it out.

Lorne was let out of his military commitment because he couldn’t pass his tests.

Lorne loved Amanda James and sent her gifts and money for many months. His sister knew she was a fraud after a short phone call with her.

Lorne couldn’t perform a simple carpentry job, so he just left with the money he was paid in advance.

Lorne spent a month talking to Kayla, falling in love with her.

Lorne didn’t notice Casey looked and spoke nothing like Kayla.

Lorne wrote the most ridiculous legal writs in history while in prison.

Lorne “wrote a book”. Did he really? Did someone else write it for him?

Lorne can’t keep a menial job for more then a few months without fucking up and getting fired.

Lorne doesn’t know how to pay bills.

Lorne doesn’t know how to work a computer and needed excessive hand holding from friends and family to even post a YouTube video.

Lorne was taken for $10k by Nikkie, a woman he never kissed.

Lorne believes everything a woman has ever told him.

Lorne is incapable of learning from his past mistakes. Lorne is so dumb he doesn’t know he’s dumb, repeatedly calling himself clever and smart and referring to others as ignorant dumbasses.

In all seriousness, I would estimate Lorne has an IQ between 40-60. When sober. Barely trainable, barely employable, and better off if he lives under adult supervision. Barely self aware. About as intelligent as a bonobo or a parrot.

When drunk, it’s estimated IQ drops 25 points.

My point is this: never underestimate Lorne’s stupidity. Yes, he is that stupid. I once said, defending Lorne’s intelligence, “yeah but he was one of the few predators to ask for an attorney during the interrogation, that shows some smarts, right?” and I was corrected. Lorne only asked for an attorney so he wouldn’t have to suffer the humiliation of having another man show him a photo of his own penis.
