I've gone through the chat logs a few times and this is always one of the areas that confuses me. I've got a few theories of my own, but I'm interested in what everyone else thinks.
The first mention occurs on October 2 when he casually proposes that he cut off Mr. Penis so that it's "not as big". This doesn't even make sense. Without getting in to the size of Lorne's penis and how it ranks up, if he were to cut it off, it wouldn't just become "smaller". It would no longer be there at all! Clearly, Lorne strongly ties his self-worth as a man to his penis, and maybe he's gauging Kayla's reaction to the prospect of him losing it as a sick way to build up his self-esteem?
For example, if a child doesn't pick up his or her toys at the end of the day, the parents might threaten to throw them away in order to solicit a certain reaction. The kid will probably say, "No mommy and daddy! I promise I'll put them away! Please don't throw them out!" Maybe Lorne wants a similar reaction from Kayla about his penis because he feels that Kayla isn't praising it enough?
Next, Lorne directly adds Kayla to the equation when he asks her not to bite it off. If he's concerned about her biting his dick off, then why even broach the subject and plant the idea in Kayla's head?
Then finally on October 8, he takes it up another notch by asking Kayla not to cut it off. I wonder if this ties in to his whole idea of Kayla "owning" his penis, and if so, maybe it's some kind of masochistic fantasy of being dominated and abused by a female. Or is it just another sick, roundabout way to appeal for compliments about his penis?
