Wanted to try to clear this up. I always believed Lorne served 7 years total in prison but looks like I was wrong.
The confusion is probably based on his original sentences:

His state sentence (7) was longer than his federal one (5), and they were served concurrently for the most part. I had always thought for some reason he did 5 in federal and the remaining 2 in state but I had it the wrong way around.
Incarceration began though on the night of the bust, 18 October 2007, at Warren County Jail. From one of his motions it is apparent he did not make bail and remained incarcerated until his conviction.
His state conviction was on 30 June 2008, for 7 years, when he was sent to Luther Luckett (KY state) (first, since his federal case had not yet been decided)

He was then given a federal sentence of 60 months on 18 August, 2008.
His was granted parole from his state conviction (significantly less than 7 years) but had to serve out the remainder of his 60 months (5 years) federal sentence, and was transferred to Fort Dix in NJ on 9 August 2011

One of his lawsuits was a complaint that he wasn't given adequate time served for his time in Warren County Jail and then Luckett prior to his state sentence beginning. I didn't bother reading it all but not sure how he gets February 2012 as a release date since it is not even 60 months from the night of the sting!
I can't find his actual release paperwork but he gives his (upcoming) release date as 6 November 2012 (election day, coincidence?)
So he did in fact spend just over 5 years incarcerated between county jail, state prison and federal prison.
Please provide any additional dates or corrections.
