Hello all,
I was alive and in these AOL chatrooms when TCAP occur'd. I see a lot of questions about them.
The one a lot of the decoys used was 'alone at home', the most popular (by far) AOL chat room. It looked like this:

And yes, most of it involved men trying to find women to have sex with. Cybersex was a big thing and a lot of men liked to pretend like they were women to have cybersex with guys.
I've seen a lot of questions about this hope it clarifies things!
