I can't say I feel sorry for him, but it just shows how bad choices can haunt you the rest of your life and that might not even be that long. Major props to the OP for finding all this. That is some damn fine investigative work.

Do you think the coroner was aware of TCAP?

At the time of the autopsy? Probably not. I looked it up and he's 55. So, when TCAP was airing he was probably way too busy with his career. 

Plus, the email was answered by the clerk. So, any curiosity about a civilian emailing out of the blue for a autopsy request (which on its face is strange) would most likely stop with her. 

Not on that report, although per a couple PI friends that do death investigations, date of death was likely Feb 21, which was a Sunday. So it's very likely the autopsy was the next day on Monday, the 22nd.

It strikes me that the reaper seems to prefer big name predators. We've seen Wolin, Stacy, hambubger, Kendall, Twink Toilet, Dan Allen and Gerald White depart this mortal plane already. They are regarded by most as some of the most memorable men featured on the show - by striking contrast there have been comparatively few reports of the likes of Jeremy Keister, Dennis Ramsey et al expiring at the same rate. It's a weird and unnatural trend, like how surviving reports from the Franklin Expedition suggested more officers had died than enlisted men despite there being far fewer of them.
