I think with a coroner's report, they don't generally do that. But it is DOB verified. I also made sure there is no one else around with his name and dob.

Man. Maybe I'm feeling existential, but this really makes me think.

I was thinking about retirement earlier today (which probably won't happen for another 30 years or so, but a man can fantasize) and even wondering how my life would look when I'm, say, 48, 68, 78 years old. But it really occurs to me that old age is not guaranteed and you really don't know when your time is up.

Nicely done. All of this would seem to check out and jibe with what we heard. The combination of drugs, obesity, and heart disease could certainly be enough to do someone in Jeff Stacy's condition in. 

Are you willing to do the legwork to put the good doctor's case to rest as well?

He wasn't one of the least hated. Far from it. His voice and demeanour elevated him to the S-Tier and made him one of the public faces of TCAP.


As for the harassment, he travelled to a house intending to commit statutory rape. He deserves everything he got and more.

This is big news, but for some reason I have kinda meh feeling about this. Even though Jeff Stacy was one of my go-to predators. I've probably seen his segment more times than any other (except for maybe Lorne).

Still this doesn't hit near as hard as Lorne's or, say, Sokol's or Schumacher's death would. I don't know why? Maybe because Stacy just seemed so sad and suicidal to begin with.

Do you think he went into some downward spiral after his divorce and after getting kicked out from the judo class?

This for me hits hard. I've been following Jeff Stacy for years, always considered him my top go-to predator. I watched and re-watched his investigation more times than I wish to admit as well as his police interrogation. When I heard he got married I began following his wife on fb and saw that she was auctioning off items from their wedding. I messaged her about my interest in the items, and not living far from Lebanon I offered to meet in person to pick it up rather than having her mail it. Not expecting a response she cheerfully agreed and even offered to haggle a little bit over it, I think I talked her down from $20 to $15, and she said when I drive down I could meet her "husband" who would give me the item. I think at this point she had no idea of his tcap status or at least the true level of his notoriety. When I finally got around to responding, which was a few weeks later, I found out I was blocked. She must have caught wind by then of the real reason people were interested. I kicked myself everyday for missing the chance to meet Jeff Stacy in the flesh for the measly cost of a 3 hour car ride and $15 because I just didn't check my fb messages quick enough. I always thought I'd have another chance, but with this report it seems like I forever missed my chance.

Let this be a lesson to anyone, life is short and fragile, never miss out on an opportunity like I did. For JT, god speed to you as no pen can every harm you again.
