It is possible that he took the road test at the prompting of a friend or a family member. In some states, having a valid DD214 allows you to test out for certain things without doing any classroom work. Such as CC permit. In which case you just apply without any test. I doubt Lorne would have made it through the classroom portion of CDL qualification given his track record.

If you have his social you can request it. People do all the time for family members that a are former service members who are now deceased. Many funeral homes can walk someone through the process so the deceased can have a ceremonial flag. There is also other information you can request that will include everything but the nature of discharge. One of the things that stuns me about Lorne is the fact that he actually got into the Air Force in the first place. Usually they want people who score pretty high on the ASVAB and are pretty smart. Perhaps I'm only speaking from experience. I went into the Army in 1993 during the Clinton draw down. I couldn't even find an AF recruiter. The job choices the Army offered me were pretty slim. I ended up picking something that even my recruiter didn't know what the fuck it was. I suppose the AF does have a quota of retards that they have to recruit every year to replace the retards that retire, ETS or get kicked out so that fuel tanks came remain wiped. Shit, Lorne can't even wipe his own ass correctly.
