Former 1812 here. I straight up told a class of high school kids if they wanted to enlist because they needed money for college to join the AF.

I am in no way insulting anyone or trying to throw shade at any particular person, but it's absolutely astounding to me that someone like Lorne Armstrong can be so clearly evil and have zero redeeming value to humanity, but we all keep talking about these tiny little details about him like we're trying to figure him out. Like we need to find a way to explain why he is, when the answer is obvious.

It doesn't matter what makes him like he is. All that matters is it's WAY too fucking late to try to 'fix' him. He needs to be locked up so he can never hurt anyone again (yes, he has real life victims). Nothing else matters. The way we chase our own tails trying to debate why he is the way he is is super interesting to me.

As the commenter above you said, it’s fun to speculate. I think Lorne is a fascinating specimen, and yeah, I want to know why he is the way he is. Who doesn’t? I mean, what HAPPENED, Lorne? Call it intellectual curiosity, or simply stalking & mocking a pedo. Same thing.

It’s not like anyone is gonna give him a pass for anything he’s done under any circumstances. A diagnosis is not an excuse, but rather a simpler way of saying, “Ohhh, well THAT’S what that is.” If we found out today that he’s ADHD, autistic, a sufferer of FAS, or anything else, we’d all still hate him. He knows exactly why the things he did and continues to do are wrong; hell, he even spelled it out for Kayla in the chat log. He just doesn’t care. Therefore, he’s free game.

Not only that, but if he knew that we were sitting here discussing how profoundly evil and stupid he is—trying to guess at the perfect storm of disorders that turned him into a soulless retard—he’d blow a gasket. It’s a funny thought.

Haha, nobody is gonna play devil’s advocate for Lorne. We’re all here to make fun of him because we hate him. He’s evil to the core, and criminally stupid on top of it. PEDOPHILE. That’s it. That’s all.

When people talk about what disorder/s he may have, whether or not he was molested as a child, or anything else, they’re not saying “<x> is true, so everything Lorne has done is acceptable.” They’re just in disbelief that he’s a real person, and musing on how someone could possibly end up being this terrible. Or that’s what I do, anyway. I’m morbidly fascinated with him; it’s like how you can’t look away from a train wreck. Again, what happened, Lorne? He’s interesting specifically because he’s such a piece of shit.
