I suspected that was what he was doing because there were massive piles of dirt in the yard that came from nowhere. I helped my FIL dig a cellar for a house already on a a foundation. It was pretty intricate work and he’s been doing it for decades. I’m positive two drunk yokel fucks doing it would cause some serious structural damage.

The trailer he inherited was an older trailer granted, but nothing was exposed to the elements and it appeared to be intact from the pics I've seen on the forum. I can't believe that anyone would think having all the wood bare and exposed to the elements is ok in any way (especially being exposed for this long!)
I remember seeing new homes being built in a development and thinking that the ones that got exposed to some rain before the sheetrock/siding etc was placed was bad, but all that wood was covered in that Tyvec material. The amount of rain it was exposed to was minimal. Lorne's had this bare ass wood exposed for what a few years now? Occasionally covered with pieces of tarp not for weather protection but for privacy?
I can't imagine the mold that must be present....
