Poll: Do you like your first name?

Good idea for a poll. I’ve never met or heard of another person with the same first name as me which I’m grateful for. I’d honestly never change it

My first name is Jaeger and the English version is Hunter. That being what 70% of boys being born to millenial parents are named. Most of the time no one pronounces it correctly anyway so perhaps I'll just go by Hunter from here on out.

I wish Paunch was my uncle. I do have a cousin named Eric though.

I don't like the name Christopher because of it's religious connotations. I've wanted to change it to Ciarán so I have a fully Irish name (my middle & surname are Irish)

People tell me to get over it, but as someone who left Catholicism, it's like someone who left Islam being named Muhammad. It's stuck with you for life. I'd rather have a secular name instead of a religious name which I no longer believe in. (my parents specifically chose the name because they wanted me to have a Catholic name, my sister already got the cool Irish name)

Jaeger/Hunter is a pretty common douchey name here in the Pacific Northwest. I've met so many hockey players named that.

My first name is William. I like it, but I don't go by it. I prefer Bill.

Yup. Just like Chuck. The correct spelling has umlauts but there were none on the typewriter where I was born.

My names are very Irish/Scottish.

Everyone gets my name wrong so it's something I have had to get used to and stopped caring about.

My middle name is the most Irish name ever. Mine is spelled correctly. Not the Amerifag way.
